Sports Court Director, Valencia Bonita, Bonita Springs, FL. The best 55+ lifestyle in Bonita Springs is centered around Valencia Bonita’s spectacular clubhouse and lifestyle complex. Here active adults can enjoy resort-style pools, 8 clay tennis and 8 cushioned pickleball courts, 2 bocce courts, an on-site restaurant with indoor and outdoor bars, a cooking studio, sports lounge, arts & crafts room (complete with a kiln), card rooms, a spa, fully equipped fitness center and so much more.

The Sports Courts Director will manage the pickleball, tennis and bocce facility from the Sports Complex Pro Shop and create and manage an upscale, lifestyle-oriented program of social and competitive racquet sports and bocce programming. He/she will be directly response for teaching tennis, pickleball and bocce lessons and for running round robins, clinics and other social events. The candidate must be professional and embrace members to develop a robust programming schedule to meet the needs of players at all levels. 

Purpose and Objectives:
Provides outstanding service to members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner. Directs all aspects of the facility including programming, staffing, training and maintaining the facility to a high level of member satisfaction.

Essential Position Functions:
- Attend weekly meetings with fellow Directors. 
- Anticipate needs, identify potential problems and implement solutions
- Help prepares articles and calendar of events for the club newsletter.
- Communicates all issues and programs with the Lifestyle Director.
- Maintains the courts to a high standard.
- Plans events and activities which are enjoyable for all Club members.
- Teaches private lessons, clinics, and team practices as required - Tennis, Pickleball, and Bocce Ball
- Implement Social, Instructional, and Competitive Programming for all the Sports
- Mans the pro shop as needed.
- Promotes activities throughout the Club.


Essential Job Requirements and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of tennis, pickleball and bocce.
- USPTA or USPTR Certified
- USPPR Certified
- Must be in excellent physical condition.
- CPR Certified

Education and Training:
- Five years or more of experience teaching sports programs at a Club/Resort of similar size.
- Job Type: Subcontractor position, 30 hours/week minimum

Compensation
- $50,000 base compensation + 100% of lesson/league commissions
