POSITION PROFILE

The Club

Pinehurst Country Club in Denver, Colorado opened its doors in Southwest Denver in 1958 and has now provided several decades of private club membership with unequaled member amenities. Once a gentleman's dairy farm owned and operated by the Carl Norgren family, the golf course took form under Mr. Norgren's watchful eye in quest of his dream to provide a family-oriented country club to families in the Southwest Denver.

The 18 hole golf course was designed by Press Maxwell, one of the pre-eminent golf course architects in America. Nationally, Maxwell's fine hand can be seen in many great layouts, including Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia. The Maxwell 18 at Pinehurst, offering a breathtaking vista framed by the Rocky Mountains on the West and the skyline of downtown Denver to the Northeast, is one of Mr. Maxwell's finest works.

A 2002 remodel project of the entire Clubhouse defined four adult and family areas for dining, providing something for everyone. The Members Grille, Family Grille, and Pinehurst Room provide a rich, traditional atmosphere for couples and families and a unique sports bar known to Members as Bogie's draws everyone in as the place to relax and socialize.

The Position

With the support of an excellent team of professionals, the Director of Racquet Sports is dedicated to the delivery of a comprehensive, best-in-class tennis and pickleball program for the club's members, their families, and their guests.
