Designed to address the industry’s critical need for more qualified and career-focused coaches and professionals, the new Certified Racquet Sports Management (CRSM) Certificate Program is designed to equip High School Graduates and new Coaches for Career Success in the Racquet Sports Industry

Charleston, SC- McMahon Careers has launched the new Certified Racquet Sports Management (CRSM) Certificate Program. This one-year, 270-hour virtual classroom, and 400-hour summer residency lab program, equips high school graduates with the education, knowledge, and understanding to take the first steps toward a wide range of career opportunities in the racquet sports industry. Current teaching professionals and coaches are encouraged to suggest a career in the racquet sports industry as a viable career-pathway for their junior players and to learn more about the CRSM Certificate Program at McMahonCareers.com/CRSM.

Says McMahon Careers President and Founder, Mark McMahon, “Our firm’s purpose is to help those we serve to be the best they can be. In everything we do, we serve as an advocate for the amazing career opportunities the racquet sports industry provides. By helping to develop the next generation of energized, entrepreneurial, and well-equipped racquet sports professionals, we aim to help our students take the first steps in preparation for a long and successful career, as well as to help the industry become better resourced for continued growth, and sustainable, long-term success.”

The CRSM Certificate Program will be led by USPTA Master Professional Tom Daglis, CRSE. Over a long and distinguished career, Tom has served as the Program Director of two four-year, professional tennis management programs, at nationally recognized tertiary institutions. With more than 40 years of experience across the industry, including two terms as USPTA National President, Tom brings a wealth of education-specific knowledge and personal experience to his role as CRSM Program Director. Commenting on the final CRSM curriculum Daglis noted, “In the program’s practicum, module students will complete introductory study in preparation to ultimately complete all racquet sports industry certifications and designations – including USPTA, PTR and many others. We expect that for our students, their CRSM Certificate will represent only the first step in a career progression highlighted by ongoing continuing education, certification, and specialty designation. One of our goals is to help introduce our students to the value of continuing education and certification.”

Assisting Daglis as CRSM Assistant Program Director is dual Master Professional Darryl Lewis-- one of only 20 teaching professionals worldwide to have earned a Master Professional designation from both the USPTA and PTR. Daglis and Lewis will be assisted in delivering key aspects of the program by McMahon Careers, as well as members or representatives of all industry associations and organizations.
